Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G to have SD 750G chipset and brand new 108MP sensor here’s the leak-Techweu

Xiaomi VP Manu Kumar Jain participated in the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G teaser campaign. He posted a video explaining the next phone as an “extension” for the Mi 10, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and even the Mi 10T Lite. It’s a pretty family tree.

Anyway, the Mi 10i is specially designed for India and uses a brand new camera sensor (108MP camera), as seen in many of the recent teasers. The full announcement will be on January 5th.

You can watch the phone quad camera in this teaser video. Two notable labels are “108 MP AI Camera” and “Built for 5G”. Xiaomi first used the ISOCELL HMX, a 108MP sensor. However, Jain states that this is a new sensor. You may be talking about HM2, which Samsung announced in September (the main difference is that it does 9-in-1 binning instead of 4-in-1 as HMX).

However, the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G uses a relatively new chipset. The Snapdragon 750G was also announced in September and the Mi 10T Lite was first used. This explains the complex family relationships mentioned at the beginning.

However, Mi10i is not based on 10T Lite. The clues point to the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G used as the base. This means a 4,820mAh battery with a 33W wired fast charge, in addition to a 6.67 inch IPS LCD with HDR10 and a 120Hz refresh rate. There may be changes in that recipe for the Indian market, but we’ll see that within a week.

Amazon india With a detailed landing page on the phone, retail giants will be the exclusive launch partners for the Mi 10 i5G. However, the phone should also be available at Mi.com and in-store.
