Volkswagen extends the warranty period, valid until June 30

Volkswagen is the latest manufacturer to extend customer service and warranty periods.The following Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota with Renault, Volkswagen has announced an extension of its services to help its customers in the second wave of the pandemic caused by COVID-19.

  • Prepaid services due in April and May are valid until June 30

  • The roadside assistance policy is also extended to June 30

  • Volkswagen India will launch Taigun mid-size SUV this year

Under this plan, customers who expire or miss the service between April 1 and May 31 can now use the service until June 30. In addition, customers who have a valid service value package (prepaid service package) and should be maintained in April and May will be able to use the service. It is now free to extend to June 30.

Volkswagen has also extended the period for customers to purchase extended warranty periods. Customers with a two-year standard car warranty can now expire in April and May, and can now purchase an extended warranty until June 30. In addition, customers who need an extended warranty period that expires between April 15 and May 31 can now perform any repairs to extend the warranty period to June 30. Finally, the automaker extended the validity period of the roadside assistance policy to April and May. These are valid until June 30.
