Toyota has launched a new “home delivery” service in India. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative to make it easier for customers to obtain the company’s genuine spare parts.The new plan is based on the company’s “Toyota Parts Connect” service launched in 2015, And will allow Toyota customers to choose to pick up parts ordered online from the nearest dealer or deliver them to their door.
- Initially provided services in 12 cities
- Will expand to other cities by the end of 2021
Although the “home delivery” service is currently available in 12 major cities, it will be promoted in India by the end of 2021.
Toyota boosts online parts supply
In addition to launching this new service, Toyota stated that it has also increased the range of products offered under the “Toyota Parts Connect” program. In addition to brakes and suspensions, it now includes car care essentials, engine oil, tires and batteries, engines and Transmission, air conditioning and steering system components.
Speaking of this new service, Naveen Soni, Senior Vice President of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said: “Original parts play a vital role in the safety of customers and vehicles. Therefore, we continue to work hard to improve the availability of original parts. A user-friendly experience with usability and usability. This move will further help us stay one step ahead in sourcing genuine spare parts and provide our customers with a simple and effortless process.”
Toyota launches new products for India
It is understood that Toyota is getting rid of the automaker’s after-sales plan and is preparing to launch two new mass market products in India-a mid-size sedan and an MPV.The mid-size sedan will be based on Maruti Ciaz and is expected to Relabeled as Toyota Bell Tower. At the same time, MPV will be based on the popular Ertiga.
Toyota is also expected to launch its pickup truck, Hilux, In India in the next few months.
