The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G has a more functional protective screen than its predecessor, but it’s nowhere close to letting you control all of the phone’s features. It basically runs a copy of the Galaxy Watch4’s operating system – giving you an always-on clock, notifications and some control toggles.
But a launcher called CoverScreen OS tries to give you more. You can get more information from notifications, other quick toggles, the app drawer, and even various task managers – allowing you to swipe between recently opened apps.
You’ll need to grant some permissions for the app to work, and you’ll need to set Bixby to long-press the power button. Here’s a video showing CoverScreen OS in action.
