Tata Motors Both are ready to add another variant to the Tiago lineup. It is expected to launch in the first week of August, Tata Tiago NRG will make a comeback with a makeover of a hatchback.

Tata Tiago NRG: A quick review
This Tata Tiago NRG A “sturdy look” alternative to the standard Tiago series, the automaker will sell it with a pre-faced version of the hatchback from 2018 to 2020. It is equipped with man-made body cladding, giving it a typical crossover appearance. However, when Tata Motors introduced the Tiago facelift in early 2020, the Tiago NRG variant was removed from the lineup.
2021 Tata Tiago NRG: What’s new?
The new Tiago NRG will use the sharper grille and headlight design of the revised Tiago. Expect the cross hatch with redesigned front and rear bumpers, with artificial anti-skid plates and artificial cladding, just like its predecessor. Tata Tiago NRG will provide four color options-forest green, snow white, cloudy gray and fiery red.
Tiago NRG will be sold as a single full-load trim and will be equipped with all the features that a hatchback must provide. These include a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, Harman audio system, steering installation control, power windows and remote locking, power folding mirrors, height-adjustable driver Seats and so on. The safety kit will include dual airbags, ABS, day and night mirrors, rear parking sensors, etc.
Tata Tiago NRG: engine and gearbox details
Tiago NRG remains mechanically unchanged from the standard Tiago. This means it will be powered by the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine, which can provide 86 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. We can confirm that Tiago NRG will provide manual and AMT gearbox options.
Tata Tiago NRG: Expected price
Tiago’s top-of-the-line XZ Plus decoration is currently priced between 6.33 to 695,000 rupees (ex-showroom). It is expected that the cost of the NRG variant will be approximately 20,000-30,000 rupees higher than the standard XZ Plus trim.In terms of its competition, Tata Tiago and Maruti Suzuki Celerio, truck, Hyundai Sandro and Datsun. along with Celery X Now that production is discontinued, Tiago NRG will have no direct competitors in the market.
