A larger engine option will be a 1.5-liter four-cylinder TSI engine that can output 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque; this is likely to lead Skoda’s sedan-class performance. 1.5 TSI will be equipped with a quick-shift dual-clutch automatic transmission.
In terms of competitors, 2022 Rapid will compete with Upcoming Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Toyota Yaris.
