The Samsung Galaxy S22 series was the hottest topic of the week. All three phones will be officially launched on February 9 alongside the Galaxy Tab S8.
We saw high-res renders of all models in all colors, got detailed specs and even prices. To recap, the Galaxy S22 will feature a 6.1-inch 1080p AMOLED with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. On the back, we’ll see a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP 3x telephoto unit. The battery capacity is 3,700mAh. The Galaxy S22+ adds a larger 6.6-inch display and a 4,500mAh battery.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch display with a variable refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz, a 5,000mAh battery, 108MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus, 10MP 10x periscope zoom and 10MP 3 Double zoom snapper.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra starts at €1,249 for the base 8/128GB, the S22+ starts at €1,049 for the 8/128GB, and the S22 starts at €849 for the 8/128GB.
The global Redmi Note 11 was officially launched this week. The Redmi Note 11 and 11S feature a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display and a 5,000mAh battery. The 11 has a 50MP camera and a Qualcomm SD680 chipset, while the 11S has a 108MP camera and a MediaTek Helio G96 chip. The Redmi Note 11 starts at $180 for the 4/64 GB model and $230 for the top 6/128 GB model. The Redmi Note 11S starts at $250 (6/64 GB) and goes up to $300 (8/128 GB).
The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G feature a 120Hz 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display, a 108MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery, but differ in chipset choice – SD695 for the Pro 5G and Helio G96 for the Pro. The Pro model starts at $300 for the 6/64GB model and $350 for the 8/128GB model. Pro 5G phones start at $330 (6/64GB) and go up to $380 (8/128GB).
