Samsung Galaxy A53 5G assembly photos confirm four rear cameras, one for selfies -Techweu

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will reuse the bump design of the A52 three-in-one on its quad cameras on the back. This was seen in speculative renders last year, but now we’ve also got real-world confirmation from spy shots of the A53 5G frame and rear panel, which are made by 91 Mobile.

The panel appears black, although this may have been before painting. Either way, black is one of the rumored color options for this model, along with white, light blue, and orange. The same color palette will be used on other Ax3 phones, including the Galaxy A13 and A33 5G.

As for the cameras, it does have four modules, although TENAA only lists three. The main camera is expected to have the same 64 MP resolution as the A52 model, but the ultra-wide angle may be upgraded to 32 MP (up from 12 MP).

We won’t put much stock in the TENAA specs, though, but they also list two selfie cameras, and we haven’t seen any evidence of that, not even in TENAA’s own photos of the phone. If you look at the photo of the phone’s middle frame, the selfie camera only has a centered punch hole.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will use two different chipsets, one of which is expected to be the Exynos 1200. Note that there won’t be an A53 4G, both of these different chips will power the 5G unit. Other than that, they should share the same hardware.

The A53 is expected to be released in the first quarter of this year, possibly alongside other Ax3 models.
