Realme 9 Pro+ officially teased as leak details all specs -Techweu

CEO Madhav Sheth all but revealed the imminent launch of the Realme 9 Pro+, and now the company’s Twitter account has made it official – it will be the first phone in Realme’s digital lineup to carry the “Pro+” name.

Realme 9 Pro+ official, leak promises custom 50MP Sony sensor, Dimensity 920 chipset

Of course, the Realme 9 Pro itself has yet to be unveiled. All official information we have about these two products so far is that both will likely launch in India soon after the 9i arrives (sale starts on January 22). We can spy on what’s to come from unofficial sources. Before, @OnLeaks and Smart Grand Prix Collaborated to show the Realme 9 Pro specs and images, and now they’re doing the same for the Pro+.

The two models will have different cameras. Well, we should say different main cameras – the regular Pro will have a 64MP module, the Pro+ will have a 50MP wide camera (custom Sony sensor) with optical image stabilization. Previous leaks have suggested that the 50MP camera will use a 1/1.56-inch image sensor with 1.0 µm pixels (2.0 µm binning) and an f/1.8 lens. Both phones also feature an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP assistant, as well as a punch-hole-mounted 16MP selfie camera.

The Pro+ will be powered by the Dimensity 920, while the regular Pro will get the Snapdragon 695 (both TSMC foundry 6nm chips). The Plus model will feature a smaller 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a lower refresh rate of 90 Hz compared to the regular Pro’s 6.59-inch 120 Hz panel. It will be the smaller device of the two, which means the battery is also smaller (4,500 mAh vs. 5,000 mAh), although charging at 65W will be faster (33W on the 9i and 9 Pro).

Unconfirmed information from a few months ago revealed that the Realme 9 series will have four models, with a vanilla Realme 9 missing so far. All four should launch in the first quarter of this year.
