The Oppo Find X5 Pro is coming, and we can’t get a glimpse of it in a few live images. In the now-deleted Weibo post, a user revealed the front and back of the phone – the Find X5 Pro will inherit the camera “mountain” of its predecessor, but the setup itself will be narrower.
The image also shows the text “Powered by MariSilicon” written between the main lens and the ultra-wide lens and the Hasselblad logo in the lower right corner of the back.
Oppo Find X5 Pro real shot
MariSilicon X is the name of Oppo’s own NPU, announced at Oppo Inno Day last month. It is designed to significantly improve the camera’s image processing.
The Hasselblad partnership isn’t surprising, as both OnePlus and Oppo are part of the same conglomerate that the Swedish camera maker has partnered with OnePlus for a year.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro will have a 12B RAM option with 256GB storage and will launch with ColorOS 12.1. None of these specs are surprising, but it’s good to be confirmed.
The launch time is yet to be confirmed, but Oppo has confirmed that the Find X5 series will be released in the first quarter of 2022. Its predecessor, the Find X3 Pro, was released simultaneously for all markets; we expect the same for the current flagship lineup, rather than going the way of the OnePlus 10 Pro, launching in China first, with other markets “to follow soon.”
