The OnePlus 9RT debuted in China in October 2021, and after three long years, the device is finally starting to roll out globally.
The first step in its global expansion is India, where OnePlus announced the launch of its flagship product and went on sale on January 17.
OnePlus 9RT
The OnePlus 9RT is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen. The brand offers the phone with 8/128 GB of RAM or 12/256 GB of RAM, and there’s no microSD slot for extra storage. There is a larger heatsink inside the device, which increases heat dissipation by 20% compared to the heatsink in the OnePlus 9.
Priced at 42,999 rupees ($580) and 46,999 rupees ($635), the 9RT is available in silver and black. OnePlus India is bringing some incentives like an instant Rs 4,000 ($54) discount on certain cards, a 50% discount on select cases, and an additional Rs 4,000 bonus on trade-in another OnePlus phone.
OnePlus Buds Z2 (not to scale)
The phone arrived in India alongside the OnePlus Buds Z2 true wireless earphones. While they are priced at $99/€99 in the US and Europe, customers in Asian countries can buy them for 4,999 rupees ($67 equivalent).
The launch also brings some 500 rupees ($6.70) discounts that will last until January 26. The OnePlus Band is just 999 rupees ($13.50), while the Wireless Bullet Z Bass Edition will be 1,499 rupees ($20) starting Monday.
