In a post announcing the rollout, OnePlus said that “this new version addresses some outstanding issues,” which means not all people, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction. The company also noted that some of the items in the changelog are only available for EU-region models, but didn’t specify which ones.

Regardless, you can expect improved battery life, a smoother fingerprint unlock process, better charging animations, less scrolling lag in the notification area, adding three adjustable levels for dark mode, and adding and fixing in Shelf many contents. The work-life balance feature is now available to all users, with automatic mode switching and custom app notification profiles. You’ll also get improvements to the camera, 5G connectivity, Canvas AOD functionality, and the Gallery app.

As always, the update’s over-the-air rollout will be incremental, covering only a small number of devices for now, with a wider rollout planned in a few days if no dire issues arise.
