Nubia, a subsidiary of ZTE, is gearing up for 2022. It teased on Weibo that it plans to release some devices this year, including its own VR headset that will connect to the Red Magic Metaverse, routers and gaming monitors.
The metaverse is a buzzword in 2022 — it’s vaguely described as a VR environment shared by actual people wearing VR headsets. For those of us working from home, this is becoming a popular escape.
According to the trailer, Nubia’s next gaming flagship, the Red Magic 7, will be released in February.
The Red Magic 7 looks similar to its predecessor and will feature shoulder sensor triggers. Naturally, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We expect it to have a 165Hz display too.
