The Moto Edge X30 is the world’s first smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, but we’re still waiting for the device to escape China. According to multiple reports, it will be named Edge 30 Pro in global markets.
Renders of the phone have just leaked, and while they look similar, further inspection revealed some minor changes – the fingerprint scanner has been moved below the display. The logo on the back has also moved.

These Moto Edge 30 Pro renders also show a punch-hole selfie camera, which means the Moto X30 Special Edition with the shooter below the screen may still be exclusive to China. As specifications are expected to remain the same, an easy way to differentiate local and global units is the Moto logo – the overseas logo is in the lower left corner.

The latest Qualcomm flagship chipset is just one of the few impressive specs, the Moto Edge X30/Edge 30 Pro also features a 6.7-inch OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate, two 50MP main cameras, and a 60MP selfie snapper.
The 5,000 mAh battery supports 68W fast charging, which will be a big jump from the 30W rate of the predecessor Edge 20 Pro.
