Top-of-the-line SoCs from MediaTek, Qualcomm, and Samsung are already official, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is already powering some phones, but we’ve yet to see the other two perform in real life. Now that we have some preliminary benchmarks, from the looks of it, the Dimensity 9000 could be the new CPU king in the Android market.
famous salesman ice universe Some Geekbench 5 results were shared on Twitter, showing the Dimensity 9000 outpacing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 in both multi-threaded and single-threaded workloads. We saw similar results from the composite AnTuTu test and Geekbench 5 benchmark about a month ago.
It should be noted that the Exynos 2200 and Dimensity 9000 have not been officially released, so the actual performance of these two SoCs may still differ. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is already powering the Mi 12 and 12 Pro, so the above results should be more representative.
