Mahindra Will be open for booking XUV700 coming soon In the next few days, we have now mastered the nomenclature of SUV variants. The price of the XUV700 complete series is also expected to be released soon. As we all know, XUV700 will provide two extensive decorations-MX and AdrenoX (AX)-and will provide five-seater and seven-seater layouts, the full range is equipped with gasoline and diesel engines.

Under the hood, the XUV700 is equipped with a 200-horsepower, 380 Nm, 2.0-liter four-cylinder Mahindra mStallion turbo petrol device, while the diesel engine is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk turbocharger, with two adjustment states. The lower power unit (reserved for the entry-level MX version) produces 155hp and 360Nm, while the unit in the AX variant produces 185hp and 420Nm (450Nm for automatic transmission).

The diesel engine is also equipped with four drive modes-Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom-which are said to change performance and steering response. Transmission options include 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.

Mahindra XUV700: different engine, gearbox, seat layout

The XUV700 series starts with the entry-level MX variant, which is equipped with a 200-horsepower gasoline engine and a lower output 155-horsepower diesel engine. Gasoline engines will be equipped with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, while diesel engines will only be equipped with manual transmissions. In addition, the MX series will only be offered as a five-seater.

On the other hand, AdrenoX series will be equipped with AX3, AX5 and AX7 three decorations, and equipped with 200 horsepower petrol and a higher output 185 horsepower diesel engine. Except for the gasoline AX3 and AX5 seven-seater models, all XUV700 AX series SUVs can choose between manual and automatic transmissions.

In terms of seat selection, XUV700 AX3 and AX5 will be sold as five or seven seats, while AX7 will only be sold as seven seats. In addition, all-wheel drive is reserved exclusively for the top-spec AX7 diesel-AT models.

The top-spec XUV700 AX7 interior may also offer three optional packages, represented by the abbreviations C, T and L, which may imply “comfort”, “technical” and “luxury” packaging.

Mahindra XUV700: Pricing and competitors

Mahindra has announced the price of the 5-seater version of the MX gasoline manual (Rs 1.199 million), the MX diesel manual (Rs 12.49 million), the AX3 gasoline manual (Rs 13.99 million) and the AX5 gasoline manual (Rs 14.99 million). The full price of the series will be announced in the next few days.

Given its flexible seat configuration options, the new Mahindra XUV700 will have to compete with 5-seater and 7-seater SUVs.It will be comparable to a 5-seater SUV, for example Hyundai Creta, Kia Sertos, MG Hector, Skoda Kushak And upcoming Taijun Volkswagen. It can also compete with three-row SUVs, such as Tata Wildlife Park, MG Hectorga with Hyundai Alcazar.
