Mahindra XUV700: What do we know so far?

XUV700 is essentially a replacement for the current XUV500, and it will take things to the next level with great attention to technology and gadgets. Mahindra is already teasing XUV700’s priority features in several market segments, including AdrenoX informatics suite with Alexa Auto, multiple driving modes, panoramic sunroofs, auto-assisted headlights, personalized safety alerts, and more.

Mahindra XUV700 will also be larger than the current XUV500, and will be more upscale and luxurious. Just like XUV500, XUV700 is considered a true three-row SUV.

Mahindra XUV700 will get the most powerful gasoline and diesel engines in its class. The gasoline unit will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an output of 200 horsepower. The turbocharged diesel engine has a displacement of 2.2 liters and an output of 185 horsepower. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed Aisin-derived torque converter automatic transmission.

Mahindra XUV700: release schedule

Mahindra is preparing to launch XUV700 in India next week and is expected to launch in the next few weeks. XUV700 will be comparable to other three-row SUVs, such as Tata Wildlife Park, MG Hectorga and Hyundai Alcazar.
