Jaguar Land Rover just updated the Range Rover Evoque in India for the 2021 model year. The 2021 Range Rover Evoque has been launched in India, with a starting price of Rs 6.412 million (Indian ex-showroom). The updated Aurora now has a more powerful diesel engine and more internal functions.

  • Range Rover Aurora Diesel is now more powerful
  • The interior has been updated with the latest version of JLR’s Pivi Pro infotainment system
  • Evoque now also gets a new two-tone dark garnet/ebony interior theme

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque: New Features

One of the biggest updates of the 2021 Evoque is under the hood, which benefits from a more powerful diesel engine. It is still a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine, but it has now grown from 180 horsepower to 204 horsepower, although the torque remains unchanged at 430 Nm.

At the same time, the 2.0-liter Ingenium gasoline engine remains unchanged, continuing to produce 250hp and 365Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is standard.

The other notable upgrade is the interior of the SUV. 2021 Evoque gets JLR’s latest Pivi Pro infotainment system. Other new additions include a new 3D surround camera system (previously there was only one rear-view camera), PM 2.5 filters for the cabin air ionization system, and the use of phone signal boosters to charge wireless devices.

Land Rover also introduced a new two-tone deep garnet/ebony interior color scheme on the Evoque for the first time in its 2021 update.

2021 Range Rover Evoque: Variations

Land Rover took this opportunity to adjust the Aurora’s variant lineup in India. The gasoline version and diesel version of Evoque previously had two versions-S and R-Dynamic SE. With this update, the gasoline version is now only available for R-Dynamic SE decorations, and the diesel version is only available for S decorations.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque: Competitors
