new Benz S-class is expected to be launched in India at the end of this month. This luxury sedan from Mercedes will initially be sold as a special Launch Edition, with a choice of six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class First Edition: What will you get?
The new generation launched last year S class It is larger than the outgoing flagship luxury sedan and uses a lot of technology. This flagship sedan will make its debut in India through the CBU Imported Startup Edition and will provide a long list of features, some of which may or may not be available as options for locally assembled models.
Starting from the appearance features, the S-class Launch Edition will be equipped with Mercedes’ new “Digital Light” LED headlights. These devices are said to be able to project symbols and guides onto the road. The Launch Edition will also be equipped with pop-up door handles and the most important rear-wheel steering system. The latter should make luxury cars more flexible and easier to maneuver. Launch Editions will be decorated with AMG Line, giving the car a more sporty appearance through more aggressive design elements and alloy wheels.
Entering the cabin, you are greeted by a digital heavy-duty instrument panel. Behind the steering wheel is a 12.3-inch instrument display. Mercedes’ new 12.8-inch portrait touch screen occupies a large part of the center console. The new OLED touch screen will run Mercedes’ latest MBUX system (NTG7) and have facial, voice and fingerprint recognition functions. In addition, like other MBUX-equipped Mercedes, the system will receive over-the-air updates. The system will also be equipped with 320GB of storage space and 16GB of memory.
Launch Edition models are also equipped with 64-color active ambient lighting, Burmester 4D surround sound system and front massage seats.
Turning to the rear, the S-Class Launch Edition will get a bench seat, the outer seat can be electrically adjusted, with leg raising and massage functions, the driver package includes allowing passengers to adjust the passenger seat seat entertainment screen from the rear, for various vehicles Functional central tablet controller. Another unique feature of the S-Class is that luxury cars will be equipped with rear and front airbags.
Part of the equipment will also be a series of active driving assistance systems.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class Release Edition: exterior color and interior
Buyers will have five colors to choose from-Designo Diamond White, Onyx Black, Anthracite Blue, Red Tourmaline Red and Emerald Green. The first two models will provide Macchiato beige or Sienna brown nappa leather upholstery, while the other three models will provide one of them based on the exterior color.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class First Edition: Engine Details
Turning to the engine series, the S-class Launch Editon will have two variants-diesel 400d 4Matic and gasoline 450 4Matic. The S 400d will use the familiar OM656 inline six-cylinder diesel engine for other large new Mercedes in India, and will produce 326hp and a significant 700Nm torque. The S 450 gasoline will also be equipped with an inline six-cylinder turbocharger, which can output 362 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive and 9-speed automatic transmission will be the standard configuration of these two variants.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class: Competitor
Like its predecessor, the new S-Class will compete with its traditional competitors, namely BMW 7 Series with Audi A8 In the Indian market.
In addition to providing a standard long-wheelbase form, Mercedes will also launch its flagship model Maybach S-Class Limousine In India and the next few months.It is expected that Mercedes’ latest all-electric car will follow these Equalizer Flagship sedan.
