The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro, released a few days ago, will go on sale in China starting next Wednesday. iQOO did not confirm the international availability of the lineup at the event, but its Indian branch revealed that the iQOO 9 series “will be launched in India soon”.
The Indian division has yet to reveal the launch date of the iQOO 9 series, but in a press release sent to the media, the company said that Krafton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India Series finals will “highlight the imminent launch of the iQOO 9 series in India.”
The grand finals will start on January 13, so expect to hear more about the launch of the iQOO 9 lineup in India next week.
iQOO 9 • iQOO 9 Pro
The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are the successors to the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro announced in China last August, but none of these are coming to India. iQOO sells iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend in Asian countries, the former being the rebranded Chinese Neo5 and the latter being the rebranded Chinese iQOO 7. So it remains to be seen whether the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro will debut in India with the same name or different monikers.
