Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO announced on Weibo today that the iQOO 9 series, which will arrive on January 5, will be equipped with a Samsung 50MP ISOCELL GN5 sensor as the main camera, and the secondary camera will be located behind the 150° ultra-wide-angle lens.

iQOO stated that the iQOO 9 series will be the world’s first product equipped with a 50MP GN5 sensor. The shared poster revealed the stable existence of the 7P lens and gimbal. However, only the Pro model will be equipped with a 150° ultra-wide-angle camera.

Earlier, iQOO announced that the iQOO 9 series will be equipped with a 4,700 mAh battery, but did not specify whether the vanilla and Pro models will be equipped with a battery of this size, or only the iQOO 9 Pro will be powered by a 4,700 mAh battery.

iQOO has not detailed the specifications of iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. However, the company has confirmed that the lineup will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 50W wireless charging, 3D VC cooling system, and LTPO 2.0 type 2K 120Hz E5 AMOLED display with 517 ppi pixel density, 1,500 nits peak brightness and 1,000 Hz touch sampling rate.
