modern The Indian Motor Corporation (HMI) opened its new corporate headquarters in Gurgaon on Tuesday, July 27. The new 10-story headquarters in Gurgaon is a 28,000 square meter green space project. Work on the project started for the first time in February 2018, and Hyundai Motor India has invested more than Rs 10 crore in it.

Hyundai’s new headquarters
The new headquarters is located next to the Gurgaon-Jaipur Highway (NH-8), adjacent to DLF’s World Technology Park. Although the inauguration is now being held, the automaker moved to this larger and more luxurious new office in early April this year.
Hyundai said that the large office is a green complex with open space, a huge vertical garden in the atrium, and 14 electric car chargers installed in the parking lot. The building also meets the earthquake zone five standards. It also harmonizes all aspects of nature, technology, innovation and collaboration.
It is understood that at some point in the future, the new company headquarters will also have an in-house design studio.
In addition to the R&D business with an R&D center in Hyderabad, the company has transferred all key functions including sales, marketing, after-sales, finance and human resources to this new location.
The automaker’s old company headquarters in Jasola, New Delhi, may remain as a central regional office.
Hyundai will open a new brand experience center
The company has acquired two plots in the area, the office is built on 3 acres of land, and another adjacent building is expected to be completed in 2023, with a brand experience center. HMI estimates that the total capital expenditure including the two buildings is approximately Rs 2,000 crore.
World-class facilities
Hyundai Motor’s new headquarters focuses on environmental sustainability in the form of solar roofs, natural lighting and vast open spaces.
Modern facilities such as high-end video conferencing systems are also in place to coordinate with the Chennai factory, Hyderabad’s R&D center, and South Korea’s parent company.
In addition, there are height-adjustable workstations that allow sitting or standing work, meeting rooms that can be booked through internal applications, soundproofing concentration rooms, conversation rooms and special lounges for female employees.
