Hyundai Creta gets plastic surgery to get styling clues from Tucson

New images of the second-generation Hyundai Creta have surfaced on the Internet, revealing new details about the model’s styling.This image suggests that the mid-term update will see Creta include The new Tucson that debuted in the world last year.

Hyundai Creta facelift: updated design

Previous spy photos show that the body shell of the SUV will remain more or less the same, but in these images, Heavier camouflage hides design updatesHowever, the new picture shows that the updated mid-size SUV will draw on the styling cues of the new Tucson.

The headlights are now more rectangular and located lower on the front fascia. The parametric grid design is even more obvious in this new picture, where the LED DRL seamlessly blends into it. The hood and bumper are also new.

Hyundai Creta facelift: engine details

The second-generation Creta offers a series of gasoline and diesel engines on the international market. For the Indian market, Creta is currently equipped with a pair of 1.5-liter gasoline and diesel engines, and a 1.4-liter turbo gasoline engine. Both 1.5-liter gasoline and diesel engines are equipped with manual or automatic transmissions, while turbo gasoline engines are only equipped with dual-clutch automatic transmissions. These engines are likely to continue to develop.

Hyundai Creta facelift: India release schedule

The current Creta first debuted in China as the ix25 in 2019, and the Indian-spec SUV debuted at the 2020 Auto Expo in February last year, making this SUV more than a year old for our market. One can expect that the facelifted Creta will make its debut in the international market during 2022, and may be launched in India sometime in the future.
