vivo launched the Y75 in December 2017 with an octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, an HD+ screen, a 13MP main camera and a 16MP selfie unit. More than four years later, the company is said to have announced its 5G version, and its specs have surfaced online.
According to sources, the vivo Y75 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC with 8GB (+4GB virtual) RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It will boot Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12, feature a 6.58-inch FullHD+ screen, and pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support.
For photography, the vivo Y75 5G will feature four cameras – a 16MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch, and a 50MP main unit at the rear joined by two 2MP cameras.
The smartphone has a thickness of 8.25 mm and a weight of 187 grams. It will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication, and will be available in two color options – Aurora and Black.
Sources say the vivo Y75 5G will arrive in India by the end of this month, but vivo has no word on the smartphone yet. However, if this launch schedule is correct, the Y75 5G will be the sixth vivo smartphone launched in India this month, provided the company does not announce any other phones before launching the Y75 5G in the Asian country.
