European retailer lists Exynos-powered Galaxy S22 series -Techweu

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S series again with two chipsets – the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will get the Qualcomm platform in some markets, while others will feature the latest Exynos 2200. There were signs that Samsung was facing issues with its in-house chipset, but those issues appear to have been cleared up and Europe will stick with the Samsung-made Exynos 2200. Evidence comes from retail listings across the EU.

The SM-S901B, SM-S906B, and SM-908B all come with the unreleased new Exynos, as confirmed by a Geekbench listing that appeared earlier. Qualcomm chips, usually reserved for the US, South Korea, and China, will have different letters at the end — SM-S901E, SM-S906E, and SM-S908E.

Retailers such as Italy’s Zanetti Shop and Epto have their pages ready, although there aren’t any specs or official images yet. One price tag for the Galaxy S22+ 8/128 GB is €1,190, but we hope it’s a placeholder, otherwise, it will be €150 more than its predecessor.
