Mahindra has Launched the highly anticipated XUV700, Before the official launch in the next few months. As an alternative to the upcoming XUV500, XUV700 will be available in 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, gasoline and diesel engine options, and manual and automatic transmission options. The new SUV is also equipped with some functions, some of which are market segments. Keep reading to learn about the features you get in each variant.

Mahindra XUV700: available variants
Mahindra will provide two series of XUV700-MX and AdrenoX (AX). The MX series has a single MX interior, which will be equipped with a gasoline engine and a low-output diesel engine. On the other hand, the AdrenoX series will have three trim levels-AX3, AX5 and AX7-and provide gasoline and higher output diesel engines.
Mahindra has announced the prices of the 5-seater versions of the MX gasoline manual, MX diesel manual, AX3 gasoline manual and AX5 gasoline manual. The full pricing of the XUV700 series will be announced sometime in October.

Mahindra XUV700: MX series features
The entry-level Mahindra XUV700 MX interior will have dual airbags, ABS with EBD, 8.0-inch touch screen infotainment screen, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, Android Auto compatibility, day/night internal rear-view mirror (IRVM) and other functions, power Adjustable exterior mirrors (ORVM) with built-in turn indicators, LED tail lights, steering mounting controls, and 17-inch steel rims with wheel covers.
Mahindra XUV700: AX series features
In the AX series, the basic Mahindra XUV700 AX3 has two 10.25-inch screens on the dashboard for the infotainment system and digital dialing, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connections, built-in Amazon Alexa virtual assistant, Mahindra’s “AdrenoX Connect “Connected car technology, six-speaker audio system, LED daytime running lights and front fog lights.
XUV700 AX5 adds functions such as panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, sequential turn indicators, turning lights, curtain airbags and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels to the AX3 trim.
The top XUV700 AX7 interior will get all the above features, more like Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology, driver drowsiness alert, dual-zone automatic climate control, artificial leather interior, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear joystick, with memory Functional 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, side airbags (seven in total) and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy.
In addition to the above features, Mahindra will also provide various option packages to add devices such as wireless chargers, 360-degree cameras, 3D surround sound systems, blind vision monitors, and electronic parking brakes.
Mahindra XUV700: engine and gearbox
As mentioned earlier, the new XUV700 offers gasoline and diesel engine options. There is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Mahindra mStallion turbocharged gasoline device, which can produce 200 horsepower and 380 Nm, while the diesel engine is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk turbocharger with two adjustment states. The lower power unit (reserved for the entry-level MX version) produces 155 horsepower and 360 Nm, while the unit in the AX variant produces 185 horsepower and 420 Nm (450 Nm for automatic transmission). The diesel engine is also equipped with four drive modes-Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom-which are said to change performance and steering response.
Both engines can be equipped with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options, but low-spec diesel engines only provide manual transmissions. There is also an all-wheel drive model to choose from.
Mahindra XUV700: Competitor
Given its flexible seat configuration options, the new Mahindra XUV700 will have to compete with 5-seater and 7-seater SUVs. It will be comparable to 5-seater SUVs and three-row SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Sellos, MG Hector, Skoda Kushaq, and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun.
