Rolls Royce Stern: Design
The new Rolls-Royce stern is inspired by the J-class yacht and the original 1932 Rolls-Royce stern. The first of the new stern was built for a couple who have a restored original stern in their private collection. Rolls-Royce had a brief understanding of the beginning of this project-three years ago-to create a “joy” and “celebration” car that they could enjoy with their families.
Looking at the new stern, the first part that is striking is its huge proportions, as the length of the car is close to 5.9 meters. In the front is the Rolls-Royce Pantheon grille, wide and deep daytime running lights on the side, and classic round headlights below. All of these are well integrated, making the new front-end design look almost seamless.

From the side, this is the most obvious moment of the nautical theme. The main point is the wrap-around windshield. The windshield should be similar to the sun visor on a boat, with the waistline slanted downward and backward, and equipped with a well-integrated wooden deck at the rear (reminiscent of seeing on a yacht Deck), and an unconventional and unique fixed canopy roof.
At the rear of the stern there is a set of bold horizontally mounted taillights, which are located relatively low to evoke the appearance of an immersed stern on the ship. In addition, Rolls-Royce used carbon fiber throughout the lower part of the car, including the door sills and front and rear bumpers.

This special stern has been completed with a combination of two tones, including bright blue and dark metallic and dark blue shades of paint, with metal and crystals embedded in it. The two-tone color scheme can also bring the wheels wrapped in white wall tires to the wheels.
Rolls-Royce Stern: Customized Elements
Some custom design elements that Rolls Royce and clients have been working on should be highlighted. The first is the fixed roof car roof, which makes the car body more beautiful. The end of the cleaned roof line is these unique structural elements, which extend to the deck and look like cornices. Of course, if the customer encounters bad weather when closing the roof, Rolls-Royce also provides a temporary cover for the seat.

The next major detail is the wooden back deck, the back cover of which is made of caleidolegno veneer-with a dark color. The perforated wooden deck also uses brushed stainless steel pinstripe inlays to visually help extend its appearance. The butterfly door of the deck is hinged on the center line and can be opened precisely 67 degrees. After opening, the items under the trunk lid (including fine tableware, silverware, towels, etc.) will be raised to a 15-degree angle to be presented to the owner. There are also two foldable Picknick tables and two refrigerators in this area. One of the refrigerators is specifically designed to hold the owner’s favorite champagne bottle, and can quickly cool the bottle to 6 degrees Celsius-which is the ideal temperature for use. In addition to the umbrella on the door, Rolls-Royce also offers a unique umbrella (parasol), which is installed below the center line of the trunk lid.

Rolls Royce Stern: Inside
Although the internal layout may not be much different from other Rolls-Royce models, the stern has many unique styles. The most obvious is the color scheme, because the front seats have a dark blue appearance and the rear seats are light blue. Accompanied by contrast piping on the seat and detailed stitching around the cabin. Another interesting detail of the interior is that the dial of the instrument panel is decorated with a decorative technique called Guilloché (this technique is more commonly used by jewelers and watchmakers).

Since the customer is an avid fountain pen collector, the glove box also contains a special Montblanc fountain pen, which is housed in a handmade aluminum and leather case. Even the clocks in the dashboard are customized by BOVET 1822 for the stern, and their design is detachable so that the couple can wear them on the watch.
Rolls-Royce Stern: Powertrain
Unfortunately, Rolls-Royce has not disclosed any powertrain or technical details of the new stern. Under the hood, the stern probably has the same 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine as the Mirage, Ghost and Cullinan. The power output range of the engine is 555-571hp and 850-900Nm.
