The biennial Paris Motor Show will return in 2022 after a four-year hiatus. The 2022 event will be held together with the Equip Auto trade show to form a brand new event: Paris Car Week.

As a sister event of the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Paris Motor Show is held every other year and is one of the largest automotive events in Europe.It was last run in 2018, because the 2020 version is one of many Auto show cancelled Due to the epidemic.

Now, the organizers of the event have announced plans to cooperate with Equip Auto, which will be fully returned from October 17 to 23 next year. This is one of the largest events on the automotive industry calendar.

The Paris Motor Week exhibition will be held at the usual venue of the Paris Expo at Porte de Versailles in the southwest of the city, but a customized digital platform will provide remote access for French and international tourists.

The combination of these two events will provide an unprecedented dual focus for consumer-oriented and trade-oriented companies, but only automotive professionals can participate in both parts of the show. The Equip Auto element of the exhibition will focus on “after-sales and connected mobile services.”

The organizers have not yet confirmed which manufacturers will participate in the Paris Motor Show elements, but promised “a series of activities, including inspiring speeches and test drives.”

The 2018 event hosted several high-profile new car unveiling ceremonies, including the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-AMG A35, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Skoda Kodiaq vRS and Toyota RAV4.
