This BMW X7 The M50d Shadow Edition has been launched in India for 2.02 crore (former Indian showroom)-approximately 3.6 million rupees higher than the standard X7 M50d. This special edition SUV will be imported to India as a CBU and will be sold in limited quantities through BMW’s digital retail platform based on the number of orders.

BMW X7 M50d Shadow Edition: How is it different from the normal M50d?
The Shadow Edition focuses on Indian models and is based on the top X7 M50d launched last year. Although mechanically it is almost no different from the standard M50d, it has received many decorative decorations and additional equipment, which are provided as an option for the regular M50d.
The X7 Shadow Edition uses BMW Individual Edition Frozen Artic Grey finish; this is an option on the regular X7. The cabin has a black/dark blue merino leather interior with piano black and aluminum inserts. The Shadow Edition also comes standard with larger 22-inch V-spoke M alloy wheels in black finish.
In terms of equipment, the Shadow Edition has received additional kits, such as BMW’s Laserlight headlights, sky lounge panoramic sunroof (equipped with 15,000 LEDs lit in the color of ambient lighting), front seats with active ventilation, and 5 zones Climate control (4 zones beyond the standard M50d), soft closing door, head-up display, 360-degree camera and tire pressure monitoring system.
The shared equipment provided includes a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, air suspension, 6-color ambient lighting, dual 12.3-inch displays for gauges and touch screens, BMW gesture control, heated front seat parking with memory and hands-free functions, Just to name a few.
BMW X7 M50d Shadow Edition: engine details
The M50d logo on the Dark Edition means that the power comes from a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder four-turbocharged diesel engine that can output a considerable amount of 400 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. The device is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which powers all four wheels through BMW’s xDrive system and BMW M Sport differential. The Shadow Edition is also equipped with the M Sport Exhaust system.
BMW claims that the 0-100kph time of a full-size three-row luxury SUV is only 5.4 seconds.
BMW cars and SUVs to be launched in India in 2021
BMW has launched quite a few products in the first few months of 2021, mainly new models 3 Series Limousine, This Facelifted 6 Series GT, This M340i, And gasoline 2 series Gran Coupe.The automaker will also launch some products in the coming months, including Facelifted 5 series Luxury cars and more performance-oriented X3 M40i.
