Bentley Bentayga S: What’s new?
Bentley claims to “bring extra athletic agility to the Bentayga series” by introducing a harder, more sensitive and more aggressive S variant. The unique 22-inch wheels of the S series, customized badges and standard Blackline design kits make it stand out from other models in the series. It also has a larger rear spoiler, black lower body panels, light-colored light clusters and black oval outlets to create larger sports exhaust ports.
In the interior, the seat, gear lever, steering wheel, roof cover and other decorative elements use alcantara (alcantara) to create a “performance-focused” atmosphere, and the seat itself also has cleaner “grooves” style. Bentayga S can be designated for four, five or seven seats.
More important is the revision of the SUV chassis, which promises a “more attractive drive” compared to the current version of Bentayga. In sports driving mode, the shock absorber has been fixed by 15% to reduce body roll, and the torque vectoring system has been recalibrated to improve response speed. As a standard configuration, the new dynamic riding system improves the quality of the ride, so that the 48V active roll control hardware is said to react within 0.3 seconds, and react with up to 1200Nm of torque in hard corners.
Power comes from the same 542hp, 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged gasoline V8 as the standard Bentayga. The S engine has a 0-100kph time of 4.5sec and a top speed of 290kph. This is only 0.6 seconds, while the 6.0-liter W12-powered Bentayga Speed is about 16 km/h lower. Bentley claims this is the fastest SUV in the world.
Bentayga can be compared with higher version Land Rover Range Rover, This Mercedes Maybach GLS And more expensive Rolls Royce Cullinan.
