Audi e-tron GT: What do you need to know?

Globally, e-tron GT has two versions-the normal S version and the performance-oriented RS version. However, Audi has not yet confirmed which ones will enter India.

The standard e-tron GT quattro is equipped with a 238-horsepower electric motor to power the front axle, and a 435-horsepower electric motor on the rear axle. The total power of the two motors is 475hp and 630Nm. The top speed is 245kph, and 0-100kph can be realized in 4.1 seconds. As for the Audi RS e-tron GT, the total output power of the system has risen to 598 horsepower and 830 Newton meters due to a more powerful rear electric motor. In boost mode, the power is increased to 646 horsepower, RS e-tron GT can accelerate 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, the top speed is 250 km/h. Both versions of e-tron GT draw energy from an 85kWh battery pack. Audi claims that the standard e-tron GT has a cruising range of 488 kilometers and the RS e-tron GT has a cruising range of 472 kilometers.

As for its design, the e-tron GT is a beautiful-looking four-door coupe with a highly inclined roof, wide wheel base, wide shoulder line, and low bonnet. Audi’s iconic dancing LED headlights and animated taillights must be one of e-tron GT’s coolest party tricks.

Internally, the e-tron GT is equipped with a 10.1-inch touch screen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, connected car technology, wire-controlled shifters, and various driver assistance and safety systems. However, unlike some new Audis with dual-screen settings, the e-tron GT uses traditional physical buttons for climate control.
