Since Volkswagen Taijun and Skoda Kushak are based on the same platform, the doors, roof, and greenhouse of the two SUVs are the same. However, Taijun still has his own unique identity. The uniqueness of the front instrument panel is its integrated headlights, two slatted chrome grilles and chrome inserts in the lower part of the bumper. There will also be a larger 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine suitable for 150 horsepower and 250 Nm. Both engines will be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission option as standard. However, they will get different automatic transmission options, 1.0 TSI with a 6-speed torque converter and 1.5 TSI with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The powertrain options are the same as Kushaq.
