limited edition Aston Martin Vantage Sports Car Has been unveiled, with unique design clues to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the company’s oldest existing sports car, the A3.Redesigned Vantage Commissioned by the HWM distributor of Aston Martin, the longest-serving retailer, to work with the company’s custom Q department.
- The limited edition Vantage Roadster A3 has appearance changes both inside and outside.
- It uses a 510-horsepower, 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged AMG-derived V8 engine.
Aston Martin Vantage Roadster A3: Styling
Only three prototypes were produced, and the custom design was inspired by 1921 models, including a black grille with aluminum frame, black exterior paint and 20-inch forged black wheels with bronze brake calipers.
Aston Martin Vantage Roadster A3: Interior
The interior of the car is made of maroon tan leather and stitching, and the brand name is embroidered with traditional fonts, as shown in the original version. Vantage’s instrument surround is also cast in brass, with the original design of the Aston Martin logo throughout.
Aston Martin Vantage Roadster A3: engine and transmission
The mechanical parts of this limited edition Vantage Roadster will be the same as its standard parts. This means it is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V8 engine, which can produce 510 horsepower and 685 Nm. The engine is used in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Roadster can complete a 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 3.5 seconds and continue to reach a top speed of 306 km/h.
Aston Martin Centennial Celebration
The original A3 was restored to its original factory specifications by pre-war Aston expert Ecurie Bertelli, and was acquired by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust in 2002. It will be exhibited alongside several rare Aston Martin models at the Centennial Celebration on June 26.
Also participating in the event were other pre-war Aston Martin and Lagonda cars, the V8 show car, the Gaydon era sports car and the current model series of the British company.
