BMW The 5-series redesigned sedan has been launched in India, with a starting price of Rs 6.29 million (ex-showroom). Luxury cars are available in three models, with two diesel engines and one gasoline engine option. The following are the variant prices of the BMW 5 Series facelift.

2021 BMW 5 Series facelift: exterior
The appearance changes of the 5 Series facelift are concentrated on the front grille, which is wider and lower in position than before. It also uses a new bicycle frame design, the central element is chrome-plated, and is located in the redesigned front bumper. The larger grille fits the new headlights very well, and BMW’s Laserlight technology is used in the higher M Sport variant. The headlights use four LED beams, L-shaped daytime running lights and indicator lights on the outer edge.
The facelift also gets a heavier taillight-its design is similar to that of the taillight. The latest 3 series -And the redesigned rear bumper. In addition, all 5 series models use trapezoidal exhaust pipes, regardless of model. The standard configuration of this series is 18-inch alloy, and customers can choose a larger wheel size.

The updated 5 series is 27 mm longer than the upcoming model, but the width, height and wheelbase remain the same.
2021 BMW 5 Series facelift: interior and equipment
Internally, the revised 5 Series uses the latest seventh-generation BMW iDrive infotainment system, and the previous model’s 10.5-inch central touch screen is replaced by a standard 12.3-inch touch screen. There is also a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. In addition, interior trim adjustments are concentrated on the dashboard, which has received a new lower climate display, as well as improved materials and bright black center console details.
However, the gasoline version now only offers synthetic leather interiors, and the richer “Dakota” leather and “Nappa” leather options are unique to diesel trim.
Entry-level models come standard with more equipment than before, such as adaptive suspension and remote parking. BMW has also added a “reversing assistant” function, which allows the 5 Series to automatically reverse up to 50 meters, which should be beautiful when leaving a narrow parking space. The top-specification 5 series M Sport models are equipped with matrix LED headlights using Laserlight technology, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, electric adjustment of the front seats with memory function, electric sunroof, head-up display, Harman Kardon audio system , 360-degree parking camera, front and rear parking sensors and wireless smart phone charging.
M Sport models are also equipped with the M Sport package, which brings a multifunctional M leather steering wheel, shiny black front grille details, illuminated M door sills, M badge on the fender, M Sport dark blue brake calipers, M aerodynamics Black details around the suite and glossy windows.
In terms of safety equipment, the 5 Series facelift is equipped with six airbags, ABS with brake assist, cornering brake control, dynamic stability control, traction control and ISOFIX child seat bracket.
2021 BMW 5 Series facelift: engine and gearbox
The BMW 5 Series facelift offers three engine options-one gasoline and two diesel. The gasoline engine in the 530i variant is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 252 horsepower and 350 Nm. The smaller diesel engine in the 520d is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can produce 190hp and 400Nm, while the larger diesel engine in the 530d is a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that can output 265hp and 620Nm of torque. An 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission is the standard configuration of this series.
